BBC Minute is an audio and digital youth news platform. I wrote and presented bulletins every half an hour to a 16-24-year-old target audience based mainly in the Middle East and Africa. I was an active presenter at the TV station throughout my time at university. I presented all kinds of programmes, from live news shows, documentaries, nightlife and covering university events, watched by 10,000 students online and in the studio. I learnt how to write, shoot and edit my own videos.
I regularly created content for both online and print editions of the magazine and edited other writers’ work. I made sure I publicised the articles on our Facebook and Twitter pages too.
